The department has established the Reprography Unit in order to ensure the safety of the original record from mishandling, tampering and deterioration of information. The department has equipped the Reprography Unit with state of the art equipment. Some of them which are currently used by the department are as follows :

For Scanning:

1. Bookeye® 4 Professional Overhead Book Scanner and Book Copier
2. I2s Copibook Overhead Scanner
3. I2s Suprascan
    

For Microfilming :

1. SMA 51 Archive Writer
2. Kodak Prostars I Microfilm Processor.
